We are convinced that climate change is the biggest challenge of our time. Many businesses, large and small, are committed to mitigating their contribution to global warming. Our mission is to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) measure and reduce their carbon footprint.
A major step toward reducing a business's carbon emissions is measuring the corporate carbon footprint and understanding the “main carbon drivers”. Tracecarbon will help you to get a detailed and accurate understanding of your emissions, using our independent databases, data from established third-party providers, GHG protocols, and other recognized standards. At the intersection of technology, greenhouse gas accounting, and business, tracecarbon empowers small businesses to have real impact against global warming.

We are not trying to "save the planet". That would be pretentious - and simply not true. We are merely trying to provide a small contribution in reducing climate change and its most catastrophic impacts on humanity. By enabling our clients and partners to reduce their carbon footprint where it matters: Starting with the big and easy carbon reductions, but never stopping there. And eventually moving our clients to net zero, and of course way earlier than only 2050. Thereby, we try to contribute to avoiding the most catastrophic impacts of climate change on humanity in a meaningful way.

Our team has very diverse talents, backgrounds and initiatives, e.g. in the areas of climate and sustainability management, life cycle assessment, carbon consulting, energy efficiency improvements, as well as technology and digital solutions. We believe that only through collaboration can we maximize our impact. We collaborate with clients, agencies, consultancies and other stakeholders who want to boost their clients’ sustainability performance with tools that allow them to automate tedious processes such as ESG data collection and consolidation. Our approach to sustainability is to prioritize carbon reduction strategies in a “bang-for-the-buck” logic - we aim for impact. The same holds true for collaboration models.
